Dress Down Day on Wednesday!
All students in grades PK – 5 grade will be tie-dying their Field Day shirts in art class tomorrow, so we are issuing a Dress Down Day for everyone!    Please wear older clothing, as they might get stained during this process.  If you did not purchase one from school, just bring in a white shirt from home.  Middle school will be dying their shirts next week.  Thanks!

Congratulations to our Softball and Baseball Teams!
Congratulations to our softball team for winning the Northern Neck District Championship on Saturday. Our baseball team came close with a 2nd place finish.  It was a great season for all of our players and coaches. Thank you for supporting ACDS athletics.

League Meeting and Drama TIP Performance – Thursday, May 25, at 6pm
Please make plans to attend our upcoming League meeting starting at 6pm.  Following the meeting, the Drama TIP will perform Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.  This is a much anticipated production as it was originally performed by Aylett students in 1998.  We have invited the original cast and crew back to Aylett for a campus tour and to enjoy the latest version of the play.  It will be an exciting night at ACDS!

Student athletes in grades 4 – 8 will be recognized by their coaches for participation in volleyball, soccer, golf, cross country, basketball, softball, and baseball.  Shoney’s will provide dinner (lasagna, bread, and salad) at no cost to our families, so please RSVP to Ayron by Tuesday, May 30.  Girls should wear dresses.  Boys should wear dress pants and shirts (No hats or shorts).  We look forward to seeing everyone on the 1st.

Graduation – Thursday, June 8, 6:00pm

Annual Fund Update
As the end of the year approaches, it is time to conclude our Annual Fund campaign.  There are still 14 families who have not made their gift to support their child’s class.  ALL donations are greatly appreciated, regardless of the size!  Please make your gift today and help us reach our goal of 100% parent participation.  Thank you so much for your dedication and support.

Congratulations to the following classes for already reaching 100% giving: Class of 2019 (6th), Class of 2022 (3rd), Class of 2023 (2nd), Class of 2024 (1st), and Pre-kindergarten 4.  Way to go Patriots!
