For the last two years, our school community hit the 100% mark for parent participation in our annual fund campaign!  This is such an important distinction for our school.  This year we are looking to repeat the level of successful participation.

As parents who have chosen Aylett Country Day School for your children’s education, we are already investing in their futures.  However, tuition dollars alone do not cover the costs of the excellent experience at ACDS.  Funds that are raised through annual giving, League events, and from outside grants are crucial to the success of Aylett and our children.

Please help us achieve 100% parent participation again by giving to the Annual Giving Fund.  Any amount helps our cause!  Donations can be made online: http://acdspatriots.net/annualgiving.html.  Thank you very much for your support as we move toward our goal of $100,000.00.

The ACDS Leadership Team is encouraging all Aylett students to celebrate kindness during the month of February!  Each week will focus on a different theme related to showing kindness.

  1. Week 3 (February 19 – 22): GRATITUDE – Students will write heartfelt letters to our veterans, law enforcement officers, parents, teachers, etc. to show their gratitude!
  2. Week 4 (February 25 – March 1): CARING – Students are encouraged to bring Pennies (or coins or cash) for Patients.  Proceeds will go to Pennies for Patients: Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to help families with children in hospitals in the Richmond area.

Financial aid is available to ACDS students in kindergarten through eighth grade.  Processing for financial aid applications for the 2019-20 academic year through School and Student Services (SSS) by NAIS is now open.  SSS requires all applications to be done online.  If you are interested in applying for financial aid, please go to www.sssbynais.org.  The ACDS code for SSS is 1458.  Financial aid applications to SSS should be submitted by February 22.
