GRADUATION – THURSDAY, JUNE 7, 6PM
Make plans to attend this wonderful evening to celebrate, recognize, and honor the ACDS Class of 2018!  Following the ceremony, there will be a reception in the Frank Hundley Student Life Center.

ALL students in grade 4 – 7 are required to attend graduation.  Boys should wear dress pants, button-down shirts, coats, and ties.  Girls should wear dresses.  Students in grades 6 and 7 are performing in the program.  We look forward to celebrating our graduates.

SUMMER AT ACDS
Summer office hours: 9:00-4:00 Monday-Tuesday; 9:00-1:00 Wednesday-Thursday; Closed Fridays
Summer camp hours: 8:30-5:30, Monday-Friday

USED STANDARD DRESS CLOTHING
Aylett's used clothing room will be open during office hours this summer. Feel free to shop for next year's uniforms (and donate your child's too-small uniforms)!

CAREER OPPORTUNITY: DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Attention Patriots: Aylett is seeking an individual to assist with our school's development and operations. The position is part-time, averaging 2 days/week, starting in July. The individual must exhibit effective organizational and customer service relations skills, professionalism, and attention to detail. Additionally, he/she must be a team-player and computer savvy. A tuition discount is a perk of this position! FIELD DAY (K – 8) – WEDNESDAY, JUNE 6 – 9:30 – 11:15
Parents are invited to attend and may choose to set up and decorate “pop-up tents” around the soccer field.  Please stay behind the white line.  Following the field day events at 11:15, classes may “tailgate” (picnic) and sign yearbooks before the noon dismissal.  Don’t forget chairs, water, and sunscreen!

      - 7th vs. 8th; 4th/5th vs. 6th

THE 2018 PATRIOT
We have a limited number of additional yearbooks available if you missed the opportunity to pre-purchase a book for your child.  The cost of the yearbook is $40.  Please contact Carrie Fischetti at cfischetti@acdspatriots.net if you would like to buy one.

PROGRESSIVE AGRICULTURE SAFETY DAY – SATURDAY, AUGUST 18
Children ages 6 – 14 years old are invited to attend the Progressive Agriculture Safety Day hosted by Three Rivers Soil and Water Conservation District.  The goal of Safety Day is to prevent farm and home injuries or death from happening by teaching children about farm/home related risks and how to avoid them.   A fee of $2.00 per applicant includes lunch, snacks, speakers, t-shirt, and goody bags.  Lunch is provided by Colonial Farm Credit.  Applications went home last week and are due by August 1.  If you have questions, please contact Waring Baylor or Michelle Carter at 443-2327 ext. 4.
