Hats off to Alice Middleton who organized the Garden Readiness Day on Sunday.  Our raised beds are ready for planting.  Thank you to Chris Tuck, Amanda Brooks, Robbie Pitts, and Tara Garner for their help.

Starting on Tuesday, April 10, students are allowed to wear their standard dress shorts.  Shorts must be khaki or navy.  All shirts must have a collar and be white, navy, or red.  For a complete list of our standard dress policy, please see pages 31 – 35 in the Student Handbook.  When you do “spring cleaning” of your child’s wardrobe, please consider donating used standard dress clothing to ACDS!

STANFORD 10 / OLSAT TESTING (Grades 1-8) – April 10 – 13
Schedule change: Stanford assessments will be administered after spring break.  Testing begins promptly at 8:30!  Contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions regarding testing.

Mark your calendars for the League’s final fundraiser of the year!  Our spring Oyster Roast is scheduled for Saturday, April 28, from 3:30 – 9:30pm.  We will have live music from The Mashup and Midnight Coal Company, all you can eat oysters (4:30 – 6:30pm), and your favorite golden beverages.  Tickets are $35.00 each.

Each family has received their 10 tickets and you are requested to sell them all.  You will earn ONE FREE ticket for every 10 you sell if turned in by Wednesday, April 25!  The SignUp Genius was sent out for you to pick a work shift.  If you are unable to work the event, please attempt to sell your tickets and consider a DONATION to offset expenses.  We look forward to a great event!

Thank you for supporting Aylett's Annual Giving campaign. Your generous contributions allow us to keep tuition affordable and plan programs and staffing for the coming year. Every gift counts, no matter the size!

“I have continued to keep in touch with faculty and friends from Aylett and I love the relationships I built.  Aylett really allowed me to be myself and achieve goals I set and also pushed me to be my best.  For that, I am thankful.”  Class of 1996
